Forest Inventories

An inventory forest means the qualitative and quantitative recording of the trees in a specific region, in order to determine its ecological or commercial potential; the definition in terms of use is the evaluation of the potential for extracting timber from a wooded area.

DOMUS personnel use standard methodology for forest inventories, in addition to special techniques and designs for rapid evaluation, characterization of the vegetation, evaluation of re-growth and remote evaluation of coverage (using aerial photography and satellite images). Our experience in this field enables DOMUS to offer quality services in areas with complex vegetation and difficult access.

The forest inventory is a suitable tool for estimating the potential of a wooded area and the basis for the design and implementation of any forest management plan.
