Corporate Social Responsibility

At present, a strong culture of social responsibility exists among businesses, aimed at understanding the social, economic and cultural environment in which they operate, and to promote the sustainable development of communities.

The socio-cultural component has achieved a new importance and requires the permanent presence in the field of personnel to liaise between companies and communities, in order to solve problems based on dialogue and mutual understanding.

DOMUS personnel have experience of working with both urban and rural communities, particularly peasant communities in the Andes and native communities in the Amazon area. We have also implemented community relations plans; organizing and facilitating communication and consultation on citizens' participation process; environmental awareness workshops; enabling participation in the design of community monitoring programmes and advising on their implementation; as well as implementing training programmes.
