Geographical Information System

The geographic information systems department (GIS) offers an integral solution to information needs, developing and producing specialized digital maps to help guide the rational use of existing resources.

DOMUS' GIS department uses technological tools such as the global positioning system and the latest geographical information software. Data management covers the collecting of information in the field, the use of maps, incorporation of photographic elements and the processing of satellite images. DOMUS' geographers are trained to acquire, store, handle, integrate, analyze and deploy different forms of geographically referenced information.
